NICU pictures of Jamie

Jamie was born @ 27 weeks. He spent 86 days in the NICU. He was born April 19, 2007 and came home July 14, 2007. He came home 4 days before his due date! We was 2lbs 50z and 15ins when he came home he was 7lbs 6oz and 19ins.

Have a ton more pictures of Jamie in the NICU but these are some of my favorites.

I haven't been around much lately, I don't spend as much time on the computer anymore. Jamie needs speech therapy 2 times a week for 30 minutes each time. We will start that in June. Speech and communication are the only things he has always been behind in. He "talks" all the time but doesn't say many words clearly. He doesn't point at pictures if you ask him to show you a picture, so I am starting to work on that now. So far this is the only lasting problem from his premature birth! Other then the fact that he is small for his age! At his two year check up he weighed 26 pounds. So far they are not worried about his growth. I have been following Kayleigh's story for a long time, I was very sad that she lost her fight to live :( My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Rest in peace sweet baby girl! We are going to the North Carolina Zoo on Saturday! I can't wait! I have never been there and I love animals. I also can't wait to see Jamie's reaction to them. He loves our 2 dogs and 2 cats!!!! I will try to post a blog with pictures from the zoo! I'm going to also try to use my hubby's work laptop tonight and see if I can upload some others picture's tonight. We have dial-up on the desktop and it sucks!!! He has wireless on the laptop and it works faster! Here's hoping that I can post some pictures tonight.
